Nurseries in Greenwich

Hi,

is there anyone who has any recent experience with Pound Park neighbourhood Nursery in Charlton or Smarteenies Day Nursery in Greenwich? I have just been told by my employer that I can't work part-time so I am rushing to find a space for my 7 months old boy for January. Bit of a nightmare.

Kris

Did you try Rachel McMillan? Some of my friends have been very happy with them and they have a sign on the door saying that they have availability? Not sure if the right age group though.

I'd recommend a childminder TBH, 7MO is still very young and I've had excellent experiences with two CMs in east G'wich.

I haven't really considered Rachel McMillan because I thought Deptford is a bit out of the way, but might give it a try if the ones closer to us aren't accepting any. I find 7 months very young as well, but it would only be for 2 days. Would you be able to give me the names of the childminders or their Ofsted reference number? Thanks for this.

My kids are at pound park and it's fantastic. It's really difficult to get into the under-3s unit though.

Yes, I visited it the other week and really liked it, no chance of getting in there at the moment though. Cardwell is the only one at the moment that have a place!
