Balgowan & Marian Vian Schools, Beckenham

Just about to make choices on primary schools, just wondered if any of you have children who go to these schools and if you're happy with the school ? I know its a very personal choice but would be good to hear from you to get the real low-down !

I have first hand experience of Balgowan. I'm very happy with the school so far - no real complaints although my son is only in the infants!
Are you in the "catchment" for both Balgowan and Marian Vian? Both are very oversubscribed. I hear great things about MV - I think MV has a nicer site, with more outside space, pool etc - but I don't think there's much in it between the schools, from what I hear - they are both good.
Maybe the MV catchment is closer to the much-desired Langley schools? I don't know...
