Any French speakers in Colchester?

Hello,
I'm hoping someone in the Colchester area can help. I'm trying to make contact with other French speakers in Colchester - I am half French myself and I'm speaking exclusively French to DD (just over 12 months). I would like to meet up with other French speakers, both for my own benefit and for hers so that she gets to hear other voices speaking French rather than just mine! I'm not really interested in a formal class as such, just to meet other French-speaking mums for coffee/children's activities. Basically the sort of activities we do at the moment, but with French speakers. I occasionally post on the main MN board in the bilingualism topic but unfortunately no-one there lives in this area. I'd be prepared to travel as far as Ipswich or Chelmsford if anybody knows any "friends of friends" who might be interested in meeting up.

What a coincidence! I have just registered to this website to hopefully meet other French mums. I am French and have lived in Colchester for 5 years. I have 2 children (1 and 3 years old) and I only speak French to them. I have been looking for other French people around here for the same reason as yours, but haven't found any! It would be great to meet up.

Je ne suis pas francaise mais j'aimerais bien pratiquer et, surtout, parler francais devant les enfants un peu plus. Ce n'est peut etre pas ce que tu cerchais Cricri...mais si tu voudrais qu'on se voie...je serais super interessee.
