Looking for nannyshare NW11 London

Hi,

We live in the NW11 area & we have a 16 month old son. We're looking for a part-time nanny for our son- for 3 days a week. We'd prefer mondays tuesdays & thursdays but we're open & flexible for discussion about all the particularities (we would be happy to consider other days). It would be great to be able to hire a nanny for, say, 4 or 5 days a week together with another family or even just for the 3 days. That would not only bring the cost down for the 2 families, it would also mean that the nanny could be paid a better rate, plus the children would have the company at least some of the days in the week. We would prefer (as may be obvious from the last sentence) a nannyshare that involved shared care of the 2 children at least 1-2 days a week & maybe sole charge care on other days?

Looking forward to hearing from anyone who's interested.

Hi
We are also looking for a part-time nanny share for our daughter. She is 9 months old and I am going back to work in April when she is one.
We live in N2, East Finchley.
I am hoping to go back to work 3 days a week, days not yet set so can be flexible at this stage.
As this is an old post, if you are still interested send me a CAT message.
thanks Natasha

Can someone explain how a nanny share works please

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 16/11/2010 14:00

Hi we have a nanny share with a family in crouch end. We are based in East Finchley and our nanny in muswell hill. The family are reducing their hours to 2 days a week and I would like to find someone in the area who is looking for childcare for 1-2 days for one child. Realise this is a tall order.

My DS is 2 and a happy, lively outgoing boy. Our nanny is kind, qualified, outgoing and very caring. We've been with her for a year and she has been with the Crouch End family for 4 years.

If you are looking for 1-2 days childcare in the N2 / NW11 / N10 area please send me a message.

colol - it works how you want it to work but basically you and one other family employ one nanny between you and you slice up her hours how you wish.

Perhaps you would like shared care for all of the week. Perhaps you want to split her time 50:50 with her looking after your child for some parts of the week and the other child, for others.

There are numerous nanny pay agencies that help you sort out tax and insurance, splitting it equally. I use nannypaye and they have a nanny share guide on their website
