Toddler Groups - Epsom or Ewell

Ewe · 04/11/2009 20:03

Having recently reduced my work days from four to two - hurrah! - I am looking at joining some local groups. I am free on Mon, Tue and Thu, can anyone recommend any toddler groups or classes?

Thanks.

Hi Ewe

Littlejellybugs at the Harrier centre is good. Its softplay rather than a group and is on every weekday 9.30-12.30.
There's also Pooh Corner at St Josephs on a Monday morning, I think its 10-11.30.
On Thursdays it's Rhyme Time at the library at 10 or 10.30 (sorry can't remember).
If you want to do a class, we used to enjoy Gymboree at Cheam Sports Club.

hello Ewe, I am new to mumsnet and don't know the abbreviations so bear with me.

I live in Tadworth and this is what I have found for my two year old although older children attend as well:

Diddi Dance - pre-school dance classes. Nork Community Centre, BAnstead, two classes, 1pm & 2pm. I found this by accident this week and had free trial. My daughter soon joined in. It is £5.00 for 45mins but well worth it. They do other areas, tel: 07873634292 and ask for Jo.I liked it because you can pay per session, some other groups want a month's or term money.

A surestart family centre - Epsom Downs Primary School, St Leonard's Road, Epsom Downs. Tel: 01737 851079/354313. They have events on all week. We go to "staY & play" which is on Tues 1.oo-3.00pm, Wed 9.30am - 11.30am, Friday 1.00-3.00pm. but they lots of other activities going on too.

Banstead Sure Start, Banstead Youth Centre, The Horseshoe, Banstead. Toddler Group on Tues 9.30-11.30am term time only, £2.00 per family. Wed Storytime 11.am-12pm. term time only. Also has other activities during the week.

hope this helps.

hello, chaosisawayoflife, I am new to mumsnet.

Can you give me addresses for Littlejellybugs, St Joseph and Cheam Sports Club for gymboree.

I live in Tadworth but would travel to test out your recommendations, especially since my 2 year old loves jumping around and may enjoy the gymboree. Also which day is it on and what time.
