I think I may have to pass this year(bedtime is about 8.30pm at mo will catch up with you in the near future for hot choc though-just waiting for DH to have a day off that matches your availability.

I think a christmas meet up would be great. I presume you mean a gathering involving adults, food and alcohol?

The majority rule on this one, we could do two, one with our little darlings and one without maybe? This way, those who are unable to find a babysitter can still come.

If I can get some numbers I'll find an appropriate hole for the adults to share some wine in.

I've got a table booked at Nandos on 18th December for some mums that I know in Derby, and there are PLENTY of free seats if you would like to join us?

I have also organised a Christmas Meetup on 16th Derby at Tubby Bears where I've got presents for the LOs and there will be a Crimbo Bear to play name the bear with.

Sorry if treading on your toes, but it would be great if some of you could make it on either date!

We're OK, it's been a bit crazy here but things are hopefully settling down, my mum was ill in hospital and was sent home still ill, then had a fall and fractured her hip, ds has been having tests for his legs and may need surgery, I'm now getting better after being ill. School's good though which is a huge plus. We just plod along.

shame about the big kid, ouch for your mum and hope she recovers well.
surgery hope he doesn't need it.
You need to stay well so look after yourself.

mumsnet local tends to get forgotten about, just look at the lack of threads on here, every now and then some of us chat but real life tends to get the better of us. Hope the meal works out
