Just scanning the local networks for whats on at Mid Term and came across a great day out at Whipsnade Zoo. All week from 24th October to 1st November it is the place to be for all that is spooky, haunted and just plain fun. Scary stories, loads of activities like pumpkin carving and much much more... if you are a member its a must and if not I would still recommend it if you have young children and even babies in prams its a great place to let the kids run wild! and take the baby for a good long walk!
