Just wondering if anyone would like to meet up for a cuppa one day. All the meetups seem to be across the M1, and although I'm happy to drive for an hour or so, it's a lot longer than that to get to Leeds from where I am.

So, I'm trying my luck

Is there anyone out there?

Hi. My name is Linda. I am commenting on this thread as there may be people viewing it who maybe interested in a brilliant product I?ve found for Babies/Toddlers!

Ever tried to push a pushchair in the snow? Or on a beach? Ever tried to pull a baby/toddler in an ordinary sledge!? They just fall out! The Baby Luge is perfect with it's seat and safety harness!

It's 71cm long and 36cm wide.

I tried to get one for my baby last year and they sold out everywhere. :-( So this year I've placed a bulk order with the manufacturer making it possible to sell these at £25 each. Please get in touch if you would like one....they're £50 on Ebay!! (Type Baby Luge into the Ebay search to see a picture)

MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS [email protected] ? please do not reply via this thread as it belongs to another topic. Please e-mail me directly.

Get in touch if you would like one! And please don't wait until it snows as I will have sold out by then!

If you know anyone else that may be interested then please pass on my details at any baby/toddler meetings/groups! Mum's will love it!!

Also if there are any events in your local area and you would like me to post some flyers to you to give to other mums then I'm happy to pop some in the post!

The sledges are free local delivery to the Hull/York Area. Elsewhere will be £5.99 postage and packing.

They make perfect Xmas pressies for other babies too as most mums don't even know this baby sledge exists!!

I look forward to hearing from you

Linda.

Just found this again, still in Scarborough. Due in January... Would be lovely to meet any other MNers for a cuppa. I can be organised!!

Doucam · 12/10/2010 12:12

I would love to meet up too! What we need is someone to suggest some dates and a place and see where we go from there.

skirt · 15/10/2010 12:17

Yes go on. Arrange a date. I've got a beach hut in Scarborough so am happy to make everyone a cup of tea while we tell the kids they are definately not cold, blue is the normal colour on the east coast :) And theres a pub near thats kid friendly

BerryScaryJuice · 15/10/2010 20:33

Right, so people want weekends, yes? How about Oct 30th at 11am in the upstairs of Botham's on Skinner street for a cuppa? OR meet at Mini monsters as I can then leave DS unsupervised know DS will be entertained?

Doucam · 18/10/2010 21:36

I would need to bring the boys with me if it is the 30th so would prefer somewhere that is good for children as well if that is ok with everyone else?

ArmyBarmyMummy · 19/10/2010 19:46

Hello, I'm in Scarborough DD1 aged 11 DD2 4mths skirt I must be ancient 2 You Know Nothing I'd love to meet up with MNers around here. weekdays, weekends whatever if I'm free. Life tends to revolve around DD1, enjoying baby groups but tend to b the older donitbefore mum. I need advice 2!

ArmyBarmyMummy · 19/10/2010 19:49

Away next week (half term week). Also have beach hut if ur crowded out skirt.

YouHaveNothingButAHunch · 19/10/2010 19:50

Hello all [hsmile]

I don't want to throw a spanner in the works but you do know the 30th is whitby goth weekend and the place will be packed? [hgrin]

YouHaveNothingButAHunch · 19/10/2010 19:52

How about two weeks later? November the 13th? That way we avoid bonfire night too.

ArmyBarmyMummy · 19/10/2010 20:04

Sounds good to me, where and when exactly?Smile

YouHaveNothingButAHunch · 19/10/2010 20:25

I'm easy. We could do mini monsters. Or a cafe? Are we all thinking whitby? Or would you prefer somewhere else?

BerryScaryJuice · 20/10/2010 15:16

I would prefer Whitby-ish. 13th sounds good too. I'm happy to do a cafe too but tbh somewhere where DS can play is best.

YouHaveNothingButAHunch · 20/10/2010 17:10

It certainly would simplify things [hsmile]

So, the 13th, whitby 'ish', child friendly. This plan is forming nicely!

Input welcome.

dunnoreally · 26/10/2010 00:35

Hello [hsmile]

I'm a local girl, in Scarborough. It's nice to know there are some more of 'us' out there!

I'd like to draw this to your attention, as I bet a few of the posters here have heard of Ellie Othick-Bowmaker. Someone here might have even been to her mums baby signing classes.

They're back! There is a taster session coming up, and the info is on this thread.

As you were [Grin

dunnoreally · 26/10/2010 00:36

Oh arse, I lost my halloween hat and my link!

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/local_york/1069711-Baby-Signing-in-Scarborough-and-area-FREE There we go [hgrin]

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 09/11/2010 20:54

Is anyone still around? I'm still able to do this weekend if you're interested. Let me know :)

MummyBerryJuice · 10/11/2010 14:53

We are about. Can prob still do something on Sat if anyone interested.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 10/11/2010 19:28

If no one else is about maybe we should do it another weekend. But I'll bump this now just in case! I should probably be doing some Christmas shopping!

Any takers? Or is there a weekend that is better for everyone?

Doucam · 19/11/2010 12:16

My car has broken down so I won't be able to do any meets for the next couple of weeks now.

I'm free in Spring 2011 :D
