Friendly playgroup in Acton area?

Can anyone reccomend a friendly playgroup in the Acton area to meet some mums and toddlers?

Me too, am looking for a friendly playgroup in Ealing or Acton. Have a 18 month old DD desperate to play with other active toddlers.

The Methodist church on Acton Hill runs a playgroup on Mondays and Tuesdays. I think you have to go along and register.

NCT used to run a playgroup in St. Peter's church in Southfields Road, off Acton Lane, on Wednesdays.

I think there is an Ealing135 group meeting in St. Mary's church. Not sure which day.

ealing 135 run a play group at St Mary's Church opposite morrisons at 10am on Mondays. I haven't been yet as it is for 6 months old upwards and littley is only 5 months old as yet

if you are in the sure start catchment area, they have 2 playgroups, tuesday 9.30 - 11.30 and 1.15 - 3.15 at oaktree community centre.
Thursdays 9.15 - 11.15 and 1.15 - 3.15 south acton childrens centre,

I have never been to a playgroup before going these but I really recommend these, the mums and staff there are really friendly and down to earth.

Southfield Rd (Chiswick) Playgroup - think it's wednesday mornings. run by nct

Thursdays at St. Gabriel's Church on Noel Road in North Acton. Lovely playgroup run by the church folk. Very diverse, which is nice. It's a very big space for a playgroup, so folks don't naturally end up chatting, but do strike up a conversation... there are friendly people there (once they get going!).
