What's this area like?

Hello!

I'm looking at renting a nice house on Kingfisher way, it's a small cul de sac, off of Long Lane - just over the "bridge" behind Tescos in Elmers End.

Someone has said "ooh it's rough down there" and now I'm worried. We live in a lovely part of beckenham at the moment and don't want to move somewhere rowdy, full of idiots, drunks, teenagers in the street til all hours etc.

Any advice would be great!

That Tesco is 24hours, isn't it? That encourages a lot of noise.

idiots, drunks and teenagers in the street? Sounds like Beckenham town centre on a Saturday night!

What drew you to the area, apart from the house? I live not far from Elmers End, although closer to Beckenham. I've not been aware of any of the problems you suggest, although don't venture up to Tesco much (mainly because of the aggressive elderly folk that frequent it - trolley rage!)
