you are bringing a non-mumsnetter Is that allowed - we need a committee decision!

sfxmum · 07/10/2009 17:39

I do believe there is precedent if it pleases the court
I have to make amends for previous prejudice

slng · 08/10/2009 09:45

sfx - when you say making amends for previous prejudices, do you mean you are taking your friend out because you were prejudiced against her before? If so you must tell us what your prejudices were before we meet her!

mygreatauntgriselda · 08/10/2009 13:04

I vote yes!

If SFX is freeing a place in Kew's car, she can bring who she likes (as long as its a female)

I might be bringing MrsRecycle and she was asking if she might be able to get a lift from Kew...

Hmm, I'm with Slng, think we need to know more about these prejudices before we can decide

sfxmum · 08/10/2009 15:24

mrsR is a West London woman regardless of where she lives now

and the other subject am sure you might be able to recall without much detail
I will confirm tomorrow if that is ok

mygreatauntgriselda · 08/10/2009 15:55

I agree SFX, "you can take a girl out of Ruislip, but..."

DS, when I told him I was going out with the Mummies this Saturday so he was going to Nanny's, wanted to know "why not the Daddies"? Where to start...

vbus · 08/10/2009 19:18

Sfx -

I think Auntie's vote is not entirely objective as she has the ulterior motive of wanting a free car space But given that it's for mrsR then I vote yes too

Hello Lotus and Museli

slng · 08/10/2009 19:47

sfx - I should think it would be the men who would shudder at the thought ...

Is the table booked for 8pm? Meet at mine at 7.45

eastendmummy · 09/10/2009 20:56

Ladies, I'm going to have to drop out from tomorrow night. DH has been working 7 till midnight all week and is still in the office now. He's highly likely to be there over the weekend so if he does make it home tomorrow at any point I'd like to see him before I disappear to my parents next week. As usual his bloody job always spoils my plans but such is life I suppose. I was really looking forward to meeting you all and hope you have a brilliant night. I hope there's another one in the very near future.

mygreatauntgriselda · 09/10/2009 21:08
