We are about to move to the Woking area and are looking for a nursery for 6 month olds. If anyone has any recommendations they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks x

Hi sparklesmum

I live in Woking and there is a good selection of nurseries.

My dd (now 11) went to Teddies in The Grove, Horsell but close to the town centre. Nice building and lovely staff. Only downside I can see is not very much outdoor space.

Daydream in Horsell Rise, Horsell has a lot more outdoor space and I understand offers cheap parking (a definite pro if you are working in Woking as parking is v.expensive)

Also Christoper Robin in Claremont Avenue near to the leisure centre. Heard it was good a few years ago but no info since.

Toad Hall in Goldsworth Park looks very nice.

Had a friend who looked at Caring Day Care, Blackmore Crescent, Sheerwaer a couple of years ago and know of someone's daughter who wworks there and says it's good.

Also Leapfrog in Cavell Way, Knaphill of which I know nothing.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you would like any more information.

Spirit Daycare in Pyrford is lovely. The kids love it.

Apart from that, all the ones i have experienced have not been good at all.

Caring Daycare in Sheerwater is quite good.

Have you considered a nanny or childminder
