Any recommendations for Primary Schools in E5?

I live just off Lower Clapton Road and am starting to investigate primary schools as DD will be starting in a year. Have read all the Ofsted reports and am still pretty undecided, Millfields seems to stand out. Can anyone else recommend or share thier experiences of local Primary Schools? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Millfields is one of the top schools in Hackney, but is very hard to get into. My sister has been trying to get my niece into the nursery without much success, despite appeals at the Learning Trust

Good luck to you though should you decide on millfields

Agree that Millfields is a very good school.

Hiya hackneyzoo you're my neighbour

My DS isn't school age yet but I've heard that Millfields is good

Here are some articles about it

Thanks sabs and kid. Lowrib, those articles were very useful. We are equi-distant between St Johns (but we are not church goers so that rules that one out), Rushmore, Millfields and possibly Hackney Downs.
can anyone tell me anything about Rushmore or Hackney Downs?
