Hi, I live in Tooting triangle area so between Balham and Streatham Hill. Recently had DS2 (5 weeks) plus have DS1 (4). Before DS 2 have been working full time so not really met anyone locally. DS1 goes to school next week but DH works a lot and sometimes weekends. Would love to join any meet ups and meet people from the area. Not sure how to go about this but please let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks!

Hi there

I'm a bit out of your way but I've just recently contact NCT and they run 'tea groups'. They set up and host the first 3-4 and then they send the groups off with each others email details and it's up to them to run the rest of the groups.

I missed the initial NCT organised groups but they've put me on the email list for the group organised ones. They seem to be quite area specific which is good.

Cheers

B

Congratulations on your new baby!

Am in Streatham Hill with DS nearly 3 and expecting a new baby any day now, would be up for a meet up in Perfect Blend on Streatham High Street or in a cafe in Balham, wherever.

I would also recommend the NCT tea groups, they have special ones for 2nd time parents too. Somehow it's easier to make plans with people you meet in someone's house than it is with people you meet in e.g. the One O'Clock club.

Hello

have just come back and seen your posts - would be up for meeting! I have joined the NCT but tea groups are taking a bit of time to materialise and there are about a million different ones that I can join do very confused as to which one is best!

doing the lambeth walk - I hope your new arrival arrived safely and that things are going well. The time really flies and my DS2 is now 10 weeks old!! I know perfect blend so when you are up for an outing please let me know and I could come and meet you.

Hope to hear back from you.

Sorry for delayed response twolittlekings, DD is now 5 weeks and I have mastitis but I will CAT you when I'm up and about again.

twolittlekings · 31/10/2009 08:38

Hi Lambeth, sorry to hear about your mastitis - really horrid. Yes let me know when you are OK to meet. I can't meet yet anyway since we are halfway through a 3 week wait to see if DS1 & DS2 have Chicken pox. I am crossing my fingers that they don't get it yet since it would be a right pain at the moment!!

Hopefully have sent you a CAT, not used it before so let me know if it doesn't work!

Gas and Hot Air is an hour long, daytime comedy sketch show about pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood. Performed by new mums Helen Rutter and Natasha Joseph and written over breastfeeding, sleepless nights and copious amounts of weight watchers cake. Babies under 1 are welcomed with open arms as long as they can't move much and don't mind a bit of fruity language.

Hello, I'm in Streatham Hill and have a 20 month old DS and 3 month old DD. I'd love to meet up too as although I know lots of people with toddlers I haven't met anyone in the area with new babies yet.

twolittlekings · 22/11/2009 21:26

Hi

I must live very near you. What days are good for you to meet?

ready2pop · 24/11/2009 15:29

Hi

Thanks for replying.

Tuesdays or Fridays are best for us but I can always rejig things a bit to clear another day if that's easier.

I live on Kingscourt Road, whereabouts are you?
