Anyone know where I can buy jamjars, covers and so on in Colchester? We have a tree full of slightly tart plums which should make very good jam

The only places I can think of in Colchester that might have that sort of thing would be the Co-op department store (next to BhS) or Williams and Griffin on the High Street. I'll ask my MIL tomorrow. She's in the WI - bound to know!

Found some jam jars in QD of all places. Made it without the waxed paper so we'll haver to eat it quickly
