Postnatal groups in Leith

I have a 4 month old and will be moving to the Leith area in August. Does anyone know of any good postnatal groups around.

There is a postnatal group held in the Baxters cafe at Ocean Terminal, it is held once weekly in the afternoon. There is also Little Leithers group for new babies held in a church at the bottom of Leith Walk, very informal you just pitch up on the day, no need to pre-book. Also look out for Baby RhymeTime, they have one (iirc) on the first and third Wednesday of the month in the Ferry Road Library, think it starts at 10.30 and is on for 45 mins. Was always very popular.

I dont live in Edinburgh anymore and can't quite remember the times of the groups but if you ask your health visitor she/he should be able to give you a bit more info on times etc.

Look out also for a book Edinburgh For Under 5's, has lots of useful info on groups/things to do etc.

You're welcome, sorry I couldnt help more with the times etc. The Church Little Leithers is held is is the Destiny Church btw, came back to me a little while ago

Oh and another group at St. Andrews church at the foot of Easter Road on Hermitage Place, it meets twice a week, but can't remember which days. It is probably on Netmums.
