Can anyone recommend us nice spots for rainy days?
We are visiting Bath for a week from this weekend with 2 children (4 years old and 15 months), and would like to know where to go and play in case of rain!
We are staying in the middle of town.
Thank you!!!

Hi

The leisure centre is in the centre of town and has one of those soft play centres called Zany Zone there is also swimming. Also if you fancy a train journey Bristol is only 20mins away and there is @bristol which indoors and is great for a day out.

I concur - could also try the Holbourne Museum which does activities, sitting on the train station platform , swimming (at same place as Zany Zone) and any large shop with lifts! Or ELC ...

If weather is nice go to Victoria Park, the botanical gardens and a bus top tour is good fun! Good places to eat with kids - Las Iguanas, Pizza Express, top floor of the shop Shoon (along from Gap, near Russell & Bromley/behind jewellers) - has fab food but does not take cards and have to carry up pushchair but worth it! Very yummy food. If your kids are well behaved the Firehouse Rotisserie is nice too. If you like fish go to Loch Fyne at the top of Milsom Street - there is a fish cafe near Fat Face but they don't like pushchairs as gets cramped.

The Cork pub (Westgate) is quite nice - nothing special, but pretty good and I've been taking DS there since he was a couple of months old and they've never minded him or the buggy. Can be good for getting a coffee or something as it doesn't tend to get as packed as places like Costa. Food can be hit or miss though.
