I'm trying to arrange a party for my daughter's 5th birthday, can anyone recommend a venue in Gosforth or Jesmond please? All advice much appreciated!

It's probably a bit pricey, but I was booked for a little girls Christening at Fisherman's Lodge in Jesmond and it was absolutely gorgeous!! I'm from south of the river so can't help beyond that! How about a party at the cinema...is she maybe too young?? I have a friend who's lo took a few friends to the pics and then a pizza at pizza hut!
Whatever you decide have a good day...it's my daughters 3rd birthday on Friday and we are having her friends round on Sat for a tea party....in the garden I hope...weather permitting. It sounded a great idea a month ago..now I am not too sure??!!

Not a venue as such, but a friend of mine runs enjoy-a-ball parties in the area, and could help with a venue. He bases most of his classes in/around Gosforth so knows all the places available for hire.

If willing to go outside the area a little, Rising Sun Country Park has very reasonable rooms for hire and will do party boxes too.

For a summer birthday, I think you can hire pavillions in Saltwell park in gateshead - maybe Jesmond Dene does it too?

have been to 2 enjoy a ball parties - great fun!

Church halls are proving popular. All saints in Gosforth or Church of the Holy Name in Jesmond (which has a fab secure outdoor area).
