Breastfeeding peer support in Oxford

My baby is 5 months old and I've been bf-ing her exclusively with great success. When she's a little older I'm thinking I might like to get involved in breastfeeding peer support here in Oxford, specifically city centre/West Oxford because there is very little around here and I could have done with something within walking distance when the baby was born.

That said, I saw today that the baby cafe bus now stops on Preacher's Lane which is really close to me (I live very near the train station), so I might pop over there during the baby's nap in the morning for a chat.

Just wondering who else is out there with an interest in this in Oxford.

There used to be a very good La leche group meeting in Oxford. Your hv might have details, or it should be advertised via the New Parent Network magazine, if it is still going They do training, if I remember rightly so that you can set up your own group.

Hope you find something, soon.
