need a mother and toddler group!!

i'm a mum of a 7 yaer old and a 2 year old.
i would like to find a mother and toddler group to take her to during the day when her big brother is at school.

anyone know of anywhere or of any meeting groups?

could maybe meet in a park or a play centre...

Hi, I've just posted on your other thread, I'd be happy to meet up and that. There's quite a few around, there's lot of surestart centres about the city and lots run toy librarys etc. Some are good, some are awful! Depends on your taste I guess! Krazy Kaves do P&T mornings Tues-Thurs. It's a little cheaper to get in than other times and there's no time limit on how long you stay, plus the food is good!! Are you new to the area?

But I suggest you find your local children's center, they usually run loads of groups and can point you to other things in the area.

I've set up a local meet on Tues 7th July @ 11am in Milton Park, Milton Road next to the community centre.

So far there are about 5 of us going.
