We were at the museum yesterday; favourite here too.

DD felt very lucky yesterday to watch the air ambulance land in the park, got chance to chat to the pilots and have a look round, and then watch it set off again...and then managed to see a wedding taking place outside int he bandstand as well.

There are several MNetters who are Sheffield based.

Ihave to admit that the local sites can be very quiet on MN though - the main stuff is in Talk. (Click on Talk and Then Active Converstaions to get a bette grasp on what is going on). You can look for specific forums too, from Talk link, and there are Meet up threads there as well.

Hi all.
Can I join? I'm new to Sheffield, new to Mumsnet and newly pregnant with DC#1. So, all at sea really! It's a godsend to find this local MN site - what a brill place.

I'm originally from Sheffs but lived away a long time and recently returned, to S11. Am up for any meet-ups or similar.
Hope to get to know some of you soon.
