Toddler swimming pool

I took DS to Westminster lodge swimming pool and he didn't like it much. I just wondered if anyone knows of a toddler pool that gets deeper more gradually locally. I sat on the steps of the pool but I couldn't coax him any further.

I anyone does know of any other good pools do they have family changing rooms and how much is it approx.

Many thanks.

Harpenden pool has a nice 'learner pool' that's not too deep, although I wouldn't say it gets deep gradually.
Hatfield swim centre has a very shallow 'baby pool' that you could use to build up his confidence and then a deeper learner pool with steps that you could work up to.
Both of these have family changing rooms although they obviously get busy at weekends/school holidays. Hatfield is also used for school swimming lessons in term time so you might want to try and avoid those, although the baby pool is always open.
Details of Hatfield are here and Harpenden here
I have always found with swimmming that you have to take things really slowly as confidence is the key.

P.S Harpeneden is used for school swimming lessons too
You can still use parts of the pool, but it does tend to be a bit busy which you probably won't want if he's a bit anxious.

Possibly a bit too far away from you, but just in case you were going to try them - Borehamwood and bushey grove swimming pools are really really really cold. Borehamwood baby baby pool (as oposed to the bigger toddler sized pool) is very shallow, with no variation in height, and also has squirty jets which my dds hated. Bushey grove learner pool is huge and does slope quite nicely.

Aspire is supposed to be lovely and warm, but is somewhere stanmore direction.

Sorry, I judge pools purely by warmth, can you tell
