Morning!

DD is 3 months old and I went to my first proper baby group yesterday, now I've got the bug! I want to get out of the house today but I have no idea what to do.

I'm in Armley and can only get about on public transport.

I thought about going into Leeds but I'll only end up shopping.

My local Children's Centre is pretty good but they don't have a lot on on a Friday.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Oh all the Leeds mums are out doing exciting things with their dcs! I should have posted earlier in the week. That's what I get for being spontaneous!

Lulu - finally someone in my neck of the woods!

I'm in Armley too - dd is 7 months. Haven't been to too much but as far as I know there's a breastfeeding support group on a Tuesday 1pm-3pm and a baby group Thursday 1pm-3pm both at Armley Children's centre Annexe - behind the Council one-stop.

Would also be up for a walk round the park or a coffee if you like?

P.S - know what you mean about shopping, for this reason town is best avoided

Hi Bunny!

I've been to Thursday Baby group - do you go? I'm starting baby massage next week at the Children's centre.

How do you fill your time? I have tried to make sure I have a reason to leave the house every day so this is what we do:

Monday - Water Babies in town & Baby Massage in pm (didn;t intend to do so much in one day)
Tuesday -
Wednesday -
Thursday - Bumps & Babies or Baby Cafe in Bramley
Friday - Baby Signing class in Roundhay (start this week, DD a bit young but they have a few babies younger I am told)

Oh yes, I'd definately be up for a walk around the park or a coffee somewhere. Oh and apparently Hyde Park cinema does a parent & baby morning in the week. Not sure of the details, I haven't ventured there yet.

Oh there is a Baby movement group on in the week too. I think my DD is too young but your DD might be about the right age for it?
