How to get into a good school in Esher/East Molesey/Surbiton?

Hi all
we are looking to buy a house in the area and are really worried about getting our 3 yr old twins into a good school. Does anyone know which location is likely to guarantee a good state school? We've seen that St Paul's catholic primary school looks good in Esher - does anyone know how close you have to live and what "evidence" you have to give of being of good faith. My husband is catholic but we dont go to church (at present!).
thanks,

Erm yes, I was just coming on to say 'go to church', so it looks like you're in with a chance. There are quite a few Catholic and CofE primaries (in which Catholic children are prioritised over non-church-going children).

The best way to find out about individual schools' entry policies is to contact them directly, or look on their websites.

If you're looking for a reception place for September 2010, you'll need to have exchanged contracts on the house by the middle of October this year.
