east ren - what's on?

Baby due in July, can anyone advise what is on in the east renfreshire area for new mums and babies? I'm a first time mum and don't really know where to start looking.

Hi mcflumpy - Congrats on your pregnancy

I think there are a few classes held in Pro-Soccer within Rouken Glen park (baby massage, music classes - that sort of thing).
East Ren libraries do bounce and rhyme type sessions. See East Ren council website - usually good for up to date info. Also other classes run locally in churches and other halls around the area - things like Rhythm Time which I think runs in venues throughout East Ren. Keep an eye on community noticeboards in supermarkets - there are quite often flyers for these types of classes.
I would imagine that after you've had your baby, your health visitor will tell you about baby clinic/toddler groups held locally to you.

I think there's also a pram meet on a Thursday at Rouken Glen park. Not sure if it still happens but I think it used to start around 1.00ish from the pond
