Hi - I am running this for the first time in 3 weeks !! I,m a bit unsure about what to expect - is it best to drive there ? or will it be a nightmare traffic wise ? - I know the pack says to use public transport if poss - but how ? bus to Queensferry and walk ? has anyone done this ? Any top tips ?

Thanks

I have driven both times - but made sure I left immediately after I had finished the race to avoid the crowds leaving.

Hopetoun House is quite a walk from South Queensferry (a nice walk though) - not sure if there is any public transport that would get you closer?

is it a 10k run ? I was trying to find info on the web but couldn't. Doing the Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday. YIKES !

Hello.

It is quite a walk from south queensferry to hopetoun house, but is a nice walk, public transport in south queensferry isn't the best either. I know the 43 First bus serves the area, but not sure how near/far it could drop you to hopetoun itself? Good Luck x
