baby massage course in Haringey?

I was after doing a baby massage course - preferably one that lasts a half day or day rather than one you go to every week. Does anyone know of anything in the Haringey area?

MrsB, sometimes the children's centre baby groups do one off sessions at the group, with the advantage of it being free.

I did a 4 week course with ds1 at a parents and kids cafe at the Hackney/Islington end of Green Lanes - That Place on the Corner, which I paid for, and I'd like to do some with ds2 - as I didn't practice I don't remember well what we learned but would happily do the course again if the same teacher is still doing it - she's trained to teach baby massage but was also on maternity leave from a different day job at that time.

There are reasons for it being over a few weeks, apart from the one that a lot of mums probably quite like that concept. Generally, though of course you spend ages getting organised and getting there, most baby activity sessions are best done over about half an hour, maybe an hour at most.

On the course I did, there were 4 women and babies, 2 of us first time mums and 2 with a 2nd or 3rd baby. Each "lesson" was about 30 mins but we also hung around for a little while afterwards changing and feeding babies, having drinks and chatting. Somtimes DS would be ready to go to sleep.

Elkiedee - you are right of course re half hour sessions! I am thinking like a grown-up instead of a parent

It looks as though the baby massage teacher whose course I did before has moved to Devon! But I've learned that the baby massage sessions at Harringay YMCA in Hornsey are run on a drop-in basis - Tuesday 2-3 or Friday 12-1, £3.50 a session.

Here are the names of two local baby massage teachers, but I think they do more courses than one-offs. Might be worth dropping them a line to see what they have on or know about:
