Hi, I am a new mum to 3 week old Joe. We have only been out of hospital for a week so I am still fairly new to 'parenting'. I would like to know the best way to meet up with other mums in north leeds with babies of a similar age - more for moral support than anything else! I would also like to know if there's a website where I can find child friendly shops etc. so I can plan a trip out.

Many thanks!

Hi,

I have a 2 year old and am due in August with my second. I'm in South Leeds so can't help on the groups in North Leeds.

As for child friendly shops it's best to look out for places with baby changes etc so you know where you can do that. Debenhams is always good. The White Rose shopping centre has loads of changing places, free parking, cafes, etc so is good for taking baby too - undercover too so great on wet days. Crown point has a Mothercare and Asda which have changing places and again is free parking, cafes in Asda and M&S.

Hi, I live in North Leeds. My son is slightly older - he is just over 5 months but if you are feeling up to it anytime we could meet up somewhere if you like.

I agree with crafty. Those two shopping places are the best to start out with as they have good facilities.

Good luck with your trip!
