How about asking the shop assistants in the bit of Jenners that sells embroidery thread?

Good luck, my granny used to embroider and has done some lovely stuff (and some less lovey ).

Ah well, I'm busy learning how to play bridge! There's something to be said for embracing old middle-age I think.
