Yes, 2 dds. One is 11 and at secondary now and the other is 9 and still at primary. How about you?

2shoestrodonalltheeggs · 02/04/2009 10:06

I always wonder if a mner is sitting next to me in the park. I'm always tempted to shout 'NORKS' or 'FANJO' in a loud voice to see peoples reaction. Have yet to get the courage! Perhaps I will just bring a fruit shoot, then will get the mn tongues wagging :O

Chocolatedays · 03/04/2009 17:07

Liking the mating call of a MNetter idea. Msy try it myself.

You've found 7 mums already! That's probably some kind of record.

Chocolatedays · 04/04/2009 11:16

Is there a Mumsnet local - Hove Actually thread too?! I've just moved from Brighton and am tempted to get snobbish. Maybe that is where the crazy chat, amazing wit and wild conversations are taking place?

Hey Chocolatedays the new "Book Nook" shop by the Cornerstone Church by Palmeira Square sells fruit shoots and I found myself telling them off. God what a ponce.

2shoestrodonalltheeggs · 05/04/2009 22:45

Chocolatedays you have to say Hove actually

Pollyanna · 05/04/2009 22:47

they all definitely lurk on here - I had someone come up to me in the school playground and talked to me about something she could only have found out about on (about me).

(I can't talk to you though - I'm only in Brighton )

Yes, all you Hovies can sod off and make your own local thread. Leave us common Brightonians to it.

kittywise · 08/04/2009 09:00

Well they have meets ups quite regularly. I would have gone to some of them was too scared of some of the characters!!!

dustyteddy · 09/04/2009 07:32

kittywise - ditto here

kittywise · 09/04/2009 07:58

lol, glad I'm not the only one dusty

singalongamumum · 09/04/2009 10:23

Maybe we should organise a meet up for those MNers who have less character?!?!?!?!?

kittywise · 09/04/2009 11:24

he, he, that's me alright. I live between brighton and lewes, do I still count?

sleeepless · 20/04/2009 19:57

Hi, I've been wondering the same. Have just replied to another post, suggesting a meet-up in St Ann's Well Gardens this Friday (24th), 3pm. Please come along, character or not! I will be in the playground with a blond 20-month old boy. Maybe I should wear a carnation??

sleeepless · 21/04/2009 18:15

Sorry - now realise I have double-booked myself so can't make Friday afer all... I will suggest another date some time soon (unless anybody else wants to instead)
