Just between Blackheath and Lewisham, I have heard good things, they do lessons from age 3+

I'd see what they have on at Laban - www.laban.org

I believe they have quite long waiting lists though.

Topaz Dance Academy, they run classes in Blackheath, Charlton and Greenwich. Its a really lovely club, my daughter (5) love it.

I'm looking for something for my soon-to-be three year-old. Preferably during the day on Thurs/Friday walkable/trainable from Brockley - any ideas? Diddydance was great at Crystal Palace, but too far for my poor old mum to go every week.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for hijack!

Have you tried Little Bubbles?

My DD loved it. They have classes all over the area. Claire who teaches is absolutely fantastic!

London Theatre School, SE13, Wellmeadow Road do ballet and tap for this age group, very old school traditional place, seems to have a loyal following. My daughter really enjoys it

I would not advise London Theatre School at all!! I will not post here why but if you want to know a handful of reasons NOT to send your child there ill let you know!

If you know GOLDSMITHS COMMUNITY CENTRE IN Downham/Catford teacher there LIZ WOOD teaches Ballet (Royal Ballet School) I believe she is from. The children do there exams and perform to a brilliant standard, she is very cheap in price (compared to others we looked into) and her last show was absolutley amazing. Unlike many other dance schools she charges nothing for costumes and it would put London theatre school to shame!

I would second LIz Wood - she is fantastic and very reasonable
