Old Anniesland? (Glasgow Hawks rugby ground). I've been to a couple of things there but they were vaguely rugby related so I don't know if there's a membership issue.

Dh says to try:

St Vincent bowling club in St Vincent's Cresc
Maryhill Community Hall
Hillhead Jordanhill Rugby Club (Hughenden)
Oran Mor
Woodside Social Club (might have closed)
Partick Thistle have hospitality lounges at Firhill
Cottier's
(sorry, some of these might already be on the thread)

Also have you contacted the City Council? They might have a list.

Aimsmum - the other place to find out about is the Henry Wood Hall (the RSNO place in the church opposite the Gaelic School). Went to a wedding there, so I presume it can be hired but no idea what the cost would be.

prettybird · 13/03/2009 21:49

Oops - just seen you've found somewhere
