Meet up - Friday 27th February

All welcome at mine for a meet up next Friday 27th from 10am onwards. Coffee, tea, biccies, cakes etc. I only have instant coffee though - am seriously thinking of investing in a proper coffee maker a la Mung. Sooooo scrummy.

We're free so will be coming, will meet up with Jently at the train station so that we can journey together

Will have the P&T with me so may need to pop that in your garden/round the side or something if that's ok?

Can I bring anything? Anything you're craving that I can supply

There is a Gaggia shop at Freeport...worth a visit and demo, even if you dont buy from them. I love my coffee machine, although I am now thinking of upgrading...mine has had a lot of use and is getting tired. I would definitely recommend it. Its the Cubika.

Mmm Gaggia, used to sell them at NA, there was also a fab built in coffee machine by Siemens, very nice indeed

MrsM, there is a bus from Colchester to Kelvedon but takes over half an hour and leaves from Colchester bus station then through Lexden and Stanway, doesn't go past Colchester North Station as far as I remember.

There is a train from Colchester (North) at 9.33 that takes 11 mins. Not sure how that will work with your connection though MrsM. There is also an earlier one at 9.17 if that works better for you. Hope you can make it PF. Look forward to seeing you all.

Mung and all, will send further directions by email, is not working at the mo, hope it comes back soon, am lost without it!

Oh and yes please MrsM, Jammy fairy cakes sound delish! No worries you can wheel the P&T round the side. I might steal it, have my eye on one of those!

Yep Mung, I have decided I'm getting rid and it's up on ebay at the moment. TBH I don't think there is anything else that can possibly go wrong with it but I'm not taking the risk lol. I'm getting a phil & teds instead but need to sell my rustbucket car first.

Hopefully it will mean I will get fit

If I have the phil and teds by then I can make it but if not then I can't

We've got a house full of a gastro bug at the moment, so I htink we ought to keep away on Friday. Unless it miraculously disappears in the next 24 hours, but it looks like its here to stay for a while yet. Esme has been vomiting for 5 days now and now its my turn! The joy!

Have tea with elderly neighbour on Friday Saz but will try and make it when I have picked DS up at 12 - he has tonsilitus at the moment (again!) so I am hoping he will be at school Friday.

OK MadameC, let me know if you and DS will want lunch then. Open house til about 1.30ish, when DS will hopefully need a sleep (fingers crossed). Anyone else is welcome to stay and have lunch too if easier before you head home, just let me know and I'll make some sarnies.

Really sorry but I'm up to my ears with another cold and chest infection which I would hate to pass on to anyone, especially you or any of the kids... Am v as was looking forward to seeing you all...

Also I've had a text from Mrs M - she's going to try and get on later to send her apologies too but her DS is also a snot bucket so she's going to steer clear this week.
