Nurseries in Highbury/Islington?

Does anyone have nursery recommendations for N5 and surrounding areas? My son is due to start in September at 11 months, and I have been to see Little Angels (fine, but not sure), the Community Nursery (good vibe, but unsure of getting a place) and New Park, but have seen some mixed reviews of this last one.... Any thoughts gratefully accepted!

Has anyone has recent experience with Kids Unlimited? Thinking of sending our little one there in a couple of months..

We attend Newpark at their new location in Clerkenwell and couldn't be happier. They don't advertise much and are smaller than the big Islington nurseries like Hopes and Dreams, Rosemary Works and the Grove. All four of their locations receive outstanding from Ofsted.

Have been meaning to come on and post about Highbury new park Montessori for ages. When we were looking for a nursery for our 2 year old girl, the vague references to something being wrong with it really worried me. However I couldn't find any concrete complaints or evidence online and it seemed good to me so we signed her up! She has now been attending there for a year and I am very happy with it. The teachers are really caring and lovely, the range of activities are very impressive and basically I would thoroughly recommend it. My little girl loves it and we have signed up our baby boy to start there when I go back to work. It is expensive, but I'd say that's the only drawback.

I can recommend Kidsunlimited Highbury. My 2.5 year old daughter has been attending since she was 1, when I returned to work after maternity leave. This year the nursery has welcomed a new manager, Malcolm, who has turned the nursery around. There was a big turnover of staff early in the year which was unsettling for the children and parents. However, the rooms are now well established. The staff are lovely and my daughter receives excellent care at the nursery and has developed really well. Staff provide feedback about my daughter every day and offer support should the parents need it eg. Dealing with tantrums, potty training etc. Parents are involved in the nursery and we are able to attend bimonthly meetings with management to ensure we're kept up to date with goings on. I am also confident in approaching any staff member should the need arise. The nursery has recently received a good Ofsted report which supports the improvements Malcolm and his staff have made.My daughter has made some wonderful friends as have I with their parents! My daughter is also happy attending nursery. My second daughter will also attend the nursery when I return to work after my second maternity leave next year.
