...it has been organised and funded by the mezzo soloist who lost her father to cancer last year, but if we don?t get more tickets sold she may have been better giving the £1,500 set up costs (concert hall fee, programme and advert printing etc)direct to Macmillan.
The concert is a Verdi Requiem and the orchestra (Bolton Symphony), chorus (Bolton Catholic Musical & Choral Society)and all professional soloists (Margo Campbell, Fiona McDonald, Nicholas Hardy and Craig Smith)are donating their services for free. Every penny raised in ticket/programme sales will go to Macmillan Cancer Support ...
