Hello there everyone!

I am new to this site and new to leeds so thought i would come and say hi!

am expecting my first little 'un mid march and due to give up work in a couple of weeks ('confinement' doesn't sound like much fun!) thank goodness there are sites like this!

Yes - two daughters - a nearly three year old and a nine month smaller version. Its been an interesting ride!

Glad you are getting out and about - its a long slog in these early weeks. It gets easier once they start showing their personality and being a bit more interactive.

I am without the older one on a Thurs and Fri so if you fancy a meet-up drop me a line. I know how hard it is to try and settle into a new place - especially with a little one as well.

I am moving back to Leeds in September and my baby will be 7 months old by then so I will be looking for things to do and groups to join when I am back. I enjoyed reading this thread to see that others are doing the same thing! I'll be keeping an eye on mumsnet and will hopefully join some of you when I am back in the UK
