So who wants to meet up?

I am willing to organise it, find somewhere suitable for all of us etc, but wondering if anyone fancies trying to meet up (thinking that I've been on here for about 4years, and it has never happened - apart from when JF was planning on coming!).

So........

Are we talkign with or without the children?

jofeb04 · 13/02/2009 17:20

, but, it does depend on everyone!

jo, you're a brave woman to start this thread!

I did a christmas thread and that was nice, and it was getting to the stage where the M word should be mentioned, Peachy did, and there was tumbleweed everywhere

Right. I can do evenings without children or weekends with.

jofeb04 · 13/02/2009 18:20

lol, we've been trying for years to sort an evening out, and have never been successful. I'm not going to let you lot beat me

So, an evening maybe.... with some wine?

OP posts:
runnyhabbit · 13/02/2009 18:49

oooohhhh, wine

jofeb04 · 13/02/2009 19:04

That should get a few more in here!

Who said wine??

When and where?

jofeb04 · 13/02/2009 19:41

Need a few more people to make sure that they are all ok with the wine idea!!

Where do you all live? (Trying to figure out best place to meet up)

Good thinking mrsjammi!

Have there never been any Cardiff meet ups before? (I'm pretty new to MN)

I will be driving so the wine's not the be all and end all. It just kind of sets the scene of what type of night it might be!!

OP posts:
IwishIwasmoreorganised · 13/02/2009 20:32

True enough - parking in Cardiff costs a fortune!

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 13/02/2009 21:56

Bumping for any more. I know there are a few people occaisionally look in at the Cardiff board

Shall we talk dates? A Friday or a SAturday night?

I can't go out if Wales are playing - I guess that might be the same for other women with rugby watching men around.

So we can't do:
Fri 27th Feb
Sat 14th March
Sat 21st March (will we have sorted something out by then???)

Easter is Sunday 12th April. Let's try to do something before then? (knowing how long these things can take)

Bumping for more

mejon · 14/02/2009 11:54

Not hiding promise - it's just that we are moving to Aberystwyth on the 2nd of March. I would probably have been too shy to come anyway . Hope you sort something out.

runnyhabbit · 14/02/2009 16:09

6th March sounds good to me

I knew the talk of wine would bring people out of hiding

Mrsjammi - I'm very much liking your idea of rose. A girl after my own heart

Shal go and put that date on calender, in diary and arrange babysitter (just in case dh has to work)
