Mobile Immunisation Unit.

Just for your info ladies,I'm involved with this Mobile unit,which is travelling round North East Essex, Monday to Saturday for the next 8 weeks,9.30am until 4.30pm. Venues from Clacton to Tiptree.

All Imms will be available such as Baby Imms,MMR,Preschool,and School leavers Jabs. The HPV jab will be avaliable for the "target age groups" (ie. Year 8's and 17-18 yr olds)

The reason this may be of use to you is the access to the jabs that are due for your DC's when you can't get convenient appointments etc. at your GP Surgeries.

Many Teenagers have only had 1 MMR and are not considered to be "covered" unless they have had 2.

We have links with the Child Health Dept. via computer,and can access your DC's Imms record.

You will hear more about this in the local press and Radio,just thought I'd give my lovely Colchester and Clacton ladies a "heads up" on this.Please ask me for more specific info if needed.

They would indeed! At least you'd be able to go when it suits you,and not when an appointment is available!

Has she has the Preschool Booster of Tetanus/Diptheria etc.?

They'll do all of them if not, if you want.

I can let you know the local ones and what days they are local if you like.

Oh i think that it is just the MMR she needs.

been meaning to do it for a while but they only do injections on mondays at our surgery.

Thanks for letting me know about it. We are away over half term but any thursday or friday after that would be really useful.
