Anyone been to local midwives classes in Didcot?

I'm going to two classes in March, called "parentcraft" which I thought was a bit odd, although I figure they will be "birth and the first weeks" which is what I really need. Have you been? Were they helpful? I had a look at the NCT classes but there are none left for my dates and they're unbelievably expensive.

I went in 2007 there were 3 classes and basically covered how to know when you're in labour, options as to where you can have baby, and pain relief. There was another class about active birth which used to be included but now you have to pay seperately for it. Classes were ok more use for DP than me as I had already researched lots! HTH
