Saz126 · 21/01/2009 15:11

Yes please, me too. I will email you, have forgotten address!

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 16:20

I may have a driving lesson Thurs morning - will know by tomorrow

Do you know if there's a bus I can hop on from outside the station to somewhere near you?

Sawyer64 · 21/01/2009 16:53

Yes there is,a 65 I believe,or maybe that one Lucyfer suggested to get to hers, might be ok too.

From the station the buses either go up Northern Approach Road,so you can get off as close to Dickenson as you can.

Or if it goes up Mile End Road from the R'bout, you can get off near the park and walk straight across the park, and that leads you into Tranter Drive which is just an extension of Cambie really, just look out for the Blue House!

In regard to the bus numbers,I'm sure one of the others can help too.....

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 16:57

Ok fab!

I'm sure I could walk it but being a lazy blob

Will let you know tomorrow if I have a driving lesson or not

lucyfer2000 · 21/01/2009 19:46

Hi Sawyer - shall let you know nearer the time. The bus to my house is the number two but not sure if it would be helpful to get to yours. It goes up the road with the dancing school and the pub on - i think that it is a bit of a walk and a bit confusing if you don't know the area??...

Sawyer64 · 21/01/2009 20:29

Yes I think you may be right.

Would be ok for us locals though,as Nayland Road (where the pub ,as SP calls it "The Dog and Unpleasant" is),is just minutes from mine if you turn right at the pub, walk down to the Park and straight across.

But I have caught the 65 before from the town, and I believe that comes up Mile End Rd,and turns at the Pub, must go to Highwoods.

MrsM Just trying to think if I could pop down and pick you up......car seats is the problem though, your DS isn't big enough yet for DD2's seat.....

Mrs M - it takes me 15 mins to walk from station to my house ... and I'm just around the corner from Sawyer - it's probably quicker than getting the bus! Dead easy to find, there's a foot/cycle path that goes to the right road.

SparklyPrincess · 21/01/2009 21:23

Oh, and yes, we're free, reckon we can drag ourselves that far!

rofl at the Dog and Unpleasant btw ...

pooter · 22/01/2009 00:06

DS has had a high temp for a couple of days so im not taking him anywhere until he is fully recovered. Its bloody annoying not being able to get to any meetups!! Im still here though!

MrsMagooo · 22/01/2009 13:28

Hullo - thanks for all the info re buses etc - but as suspected I do have a driving lesson (Thursday mornings seem to be a regular slot at the min) & it's 10:30 so can't make it this time I'm afraid

Hope you all have a lovely time though - Sawyer thank you for the offer of coming to get us that's really lovely of you. (Ps did you have any luck selling your Mac?)

MissisBoot · 22/01/2009 13:35

Hello all

I would have loved to have popped up but am in london with work.

Have fun!

Sawyer64 · 22/01/2009 19:15

Yes MrsM I did sell it on EBay,think they got a bargain though as it was immaculate, had 7 watchers, but only 1 bid at starting price of £50.00.It was a CM that bought it,and she picked it up,so no faffing about with bubblewrap!

Sorry you and MissisBoot can't make it,will catch up again soon,no doubt.

Excellent - always handy when someone local buys it!

That's the downside to eBay sometimes you get a fab price other times not so fab!

Mung · 27/01/2009 09:48

Sawyer...just checking that its all still OK for Thursday.

Sawyer64 · 27/01/2009 10:54

It is!!

looking forward to it....

Can't promise Homemade Cakes though

OP posts:
Mung · 27/01/2009 15:03

I for one shouldn't be eating cakes, homemade or shop bought, so that doesn't matter.

See you Thursday.

lucyfer2000 · 27/01/2009 19:46

Hi sawyer - think i should be able to make it on Thursday, so thanks. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Particularly looking forward to seeing your little bump Saz!!

Saz126 · 28/01/2009 21:41

Actually I think most of my bump is cake eaten in the last 3 months, so a cake free day would be very good for me!

Angiewoo · 29/01/2009 14:06

Sorry I can't make it. Would have been lovely to see you all but DS is at nursery on Tuesdays and Thursdays now. Was thinking of going to Adventureland on a Monday in a couple of weeks though if anyone fancies it, I'll let you know.

By the say SAZ - congratulations, how many weeks are you?

Speak to you all soon xxx

Angiewoo · 29/01/2009 14:07

Ooops - just realised it was for today anyway, hope you all had a lovely morning xx

Saz126 · 29/01/2009 15:23

Hi Angiewoo! I am 18 weeks today. Would love to come to Adventureland but work Monday to Wednesday. No work though from June onwards yippee! Hope to catch up soon. x

MrsMagooo · 29/01/2009 17:41
