Oxford Mners, some advice please!

I have to be in Oxford tomorrow with 10m DS. We've got an appointment at 3 and I was hoping to pop into a couple of shops, DS allowing... Sad though it is, I haven't been into Oxford with him yet and have no idea of where to try and eat lunch!

We'll be grabbing some lunch together and I'll probably need to give him a breastfeed on the way home again. So we need somewhere with highchairs (preferably with trays) that isn't precious about dropped food, and ideally somewhere (else?) that has sofas rather than cafe chairs so I can BF him later on.

Presume Costas and Starbuckses are ok on the sofa front, but where's a good place to stick a sarnie and some fruit in front of him while I have my own meal? All I can think of is M&S cafe, but I don't even know if they have highchairs!

try the oxford castle complex there's some nice places in there, though I haven't been with baby yet.

check the meet up thread out - there was some suggestions there.

Debenhams cafe is very child-friendly and has highchairs. They've also got comfy armchairs which might do for the BFing. The Modern Art Museum cafe is also very good but closed on Mondays, so although it won't do for this time it might on another occasion. Good luck and have a lovely day.

Sorry, never said thanks! I'll aim to go to the Modern Art one next time I'm in and it's not a monday! In the end, DS was asleep about the time I would have sat down to feed him, so we tried to make a faster getaway (failed: missed two trains instead! ).
