Nurseries in Oxford

I'm expecting my first in early May and we're thinking of putting her in nursery, part time, from about 3 months. Any recommendations or warnings? We're in East Oxford, and I would REALLY like to be able to get there on foot as I don't drive! This pretty much limits me to Stepping Stones, though, so I'm trying to be open-minded, and something on the bus routes would be fine I am sure. I've not visited any yet but am about to start...

Any advice really welcome!

I loved the Julia Durbin Nursery at The Churchill Hospital.

There's Kidsunlimited on the way to the big Tesco's (by the ringroad). Definitely walkable if you're the right end of East Oxford.

Thank you both, that's really helpful. I've visited a few now and really liked the Julia Durbin nursery, so we're putting her name down and keeping our fingers crossed...
