Hi there. I am a new single mother who wants a fresh start this year. I would like to meet other mums with babies under 1 who would like to meet up for coffee, shopping, a bit of a moan, share baby stories, gym, swimming... or just a general chat from time to time. It would be great if you live in EAST, SOUTH EAST OR NORTH LONDON. Hope to hear from you all soon!! The more the merrier!!

Hi, I have a three-month old and have been living in the area for about four months. Don't know anyone here and have been a bit nervous about getting out much. It'd be nice to meet up with some mums in the same situation!

Hi lupa

I also have a 3 month old DD (my first DC) and am also interested in meeting people in the area, especially when it gets a bit warmer!

I have lived in the borough for over 4 years but spend most of my time in a neighbouring borough as thats where most of my family and friends are, however it would be good to meet people in this area too.

I've put myself on a baby massage waiting list at my local children's centre, so hopefully thats another way to meet other people

Hi Sabs

I've been thinking about baby massage too - I'll have to get down to my children's centre and sign up. Yours isn't Lloyd Park by any chance is it? How long is the waiting list?

Hi lupa My local CC is Sybourne, off Lea-bridge Road.

I actually got a call yesterday to say that the course is due to start on Wed 20th Jan at 1.30-2.30 but not at Sybourne but Riverley Primary School. I think its a 5 week course at a cost of £5 per course.

Its not a waiting list as such but they just collect names of interested, and if they have enough names, they can start a course.

Let me know how you get on
