Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It has been nice to meet you all this year.

Same to you - hope you have a relaxing one!!

MadameCastafiore · 24/12/2008 18:01

Same to you, have a good one and hopefully catch up with you all in the new year when life settles down a bit!

SparklyPrincess · 28/12/2008 18:44

Thanks Sawyer - hope Christmas was good for you and everyone else. All the best for a great new year (is anyone doing anything exciting?!)

We had a traditional christmas - too much food, a stand up row and leaving two days early...

Really glad to be back home now! See you all in the new year (unless anyone's bored this week??)

Mung · 28/12/2008 20:09

Oh no SP...a stand up row. So,it was worse than you had anticipated....

I need to get out of the house to let DH get on with some DIY in peace...so if you fancy doing anything then let me know. I know we may not be welcome to your house after DS's escapades last time, but we could meet in Highwoods, AdventureLand or somewhere...

Hope the rest of you managed to get along with the family OK!

SparklyPrincess · 28/12/2008 22:58

It was absolutely awful - don't think we'll be going again...

How about Tuesday or Wednesday? Offers open to all - perhaps we could see what the weather's like and go over to Highwoods (easy walk from here, littl'uns would need buggies though) or to the swings.

I'll hide the jigsaws!

Mung · 29/12/2008 10:17

Family outing to the zoo tomorrow,so how about Wednesday? We can make them really shattered so they are in bed early so we can all start our respective New Year celebrations.

Is 10am OK?

SparklyPrincess · 29/12/2008 11:15

Sounds good - see you then xx

Saz126 · 29/12/2008 16:23

Hi all. I have stuffed myself full of food and would really be up for a nice walk but going to attempt potty training tomorrow so will be housebound for a few days at least. I have the week off though yippee. DH back to work tomorrow boooo!

Hope to catch up soon!

MrsMagooo · 29/12/2008 16:53

Hello all!

Hope everyone had a lovely Xmas!

SP sounds like you had an interesting yule!!

I got fed up with continuously (sp) picking the decs up off the floor & putting them back so the tree is already down lol!

Happy NY to all

SparklyPrincess · 29/12/2008 23:36

Lol at the tree, Mrs M! I was like that on about the 10th of December! The novelty has worn off a bit now and the allure of everything electrical and sharp has reasserted itself.

Best of luck with potty training Saz, it's seems to be the fashion at the moment! (I will NOT be joining in yet!)

Anyone else for Wednesday?

Sawyer64 · 30/12/2008 10:19

Have a nice morning SP and Mung.

I shall be at work.

Not on is it? people being sick in Christmas holidays!

Our tree this year was a real one for a change.Poor DH got it, and before unwrapping it, was in a panic about how big it was going to be,and he'd estimated how wide the bottom branches were going to span etc.

When unwrapped its a tidgy little tree, even had to put it up on the sideboard LOL!!!

DD1 keeps asking if we can have a "proper" tree next year!

We're still doing the family thing - but have fun! My waistline could do with a romp round the woods

Oh dear - SP - your xmas doesn't sound like fun.

See you all in the New Year!

pooter · 30/12/2008 21:40

Hi everyone!
Its so good to be back home after a week away! Now what to do with all the tat presents given to us by PIL?

i may well see you in Highwoods SP and Mung - do you meet in the main carpark? Dont wait around for me though - i may wuss out and snuggle in the warmth

pooter · 31/12/2008 09:08

DS did some spectacular vomiting this morning (over me - the joys of cosleeping ) so we will be staying inside and snuggling. Enjoy the park

JentlyDoesIt · 31/12/2008 17:57
