Anyone need more toys for Xmas?

Am sorting out the kids rooms to make way for new stuff that is coming - was going to stick all their old (I say old but most of it hasn;t been touched - the spoilt pair) - is lots of unisex bits for toddlers, a whole lot of Polly Pocket, Littlest Pet Shop and a whole gaggle of Barbies - plus other boy bits - Fireman Sam and Postman Pat sets and a big Mega Blocks Truck full of bricks and a boys bike - would suit 3 year old I think - has stabilisers - would be happy for people to take it all off my hands - would be happier if you would like to make a small donation to the buy Maxi Brown a Nintendo DS (it is what we have promosed him if we can get rid of some of his toys!) - but would be a small amount - whatever you could afford!

Or if you know anyone who would like any of the stuff at a reasonable price - I know it isn't new and we just want to get rid of it really but DH says we can't just give away! Meanie Man that he is.

Anyway - you all know where I am if you want to pop round and laugh at my odd looking face and peruse the pile of toys.

Hope you don't think I am being cheeky BTW just thought I would give you first dibs before I stick it all on Ebay or out myself through a boot sale.

Jx

I too have just done this - would anyone like a fisher price garage with a bag full of cars?!

Sawyer64 · 09/12/2008 20:57

Hi MC I would be interested in the Polly Pocket and the Barbies, possibly even the Postman Pat stuff, would be more than happy to donate to such a worthwhile cause.

I don't know where you are though,

Could pop round if convenient on Thursday morning, straight after school run.....?

lucyfer2000 · 09/12/2008 21:01

Hello Madame - i've bought DD a baby born for xmas with a very irritating singing potty. Been looking around ebay etc for clothes, accessories etc for it - for her stocking. Do you have anything like this!? xx

Sawyer64 · 09/12/2008 21:07

Wilkinsons do alot of accessories for their dolls, which are a similar size, and don't forget Woolies have at least 20% off most of their goods at the moment,if that helps Lucy.

Ooh and ToysRus do agreat range of inexpensive accessories too,IIRC.We bought DD1 a change Bag and Nappies, and toiletries all for her Baby Chou Chou, that DD2 "bought" her, when she was born.

Saz126 · 09/12/2008 21:40

Hi, we could probably do with getting DS another pressie. And more clothes would be great, I was about to go on a shopping spree for DS so would save me the effort! I will make a donation to the Nintendo fund for the clothes too, will still save me a fortune.

I am around Thurs AM but DS will probably want to go to "Lambs" afterwards. So if you are around earlyish, at about 9.45 then let me know.

MadameCastafiore · 10/12/2008 10:16

Hi all

We have some Baby Annabelle stuff but not baby Borne - clothes etc but I am not sure they will fit.

Saz - am at Slimming World very briefly at 9.30 in Tiptree - I will speed back home to meet you or you can always pop in after Little Lambs.

Sawyer - I will be in at around 9.45 Thursday got to go and get weighed first - am in Kelvedon High Street opposite the indian - it is the house with the Sparkly Wreath on the door.

I will sort all the stuff out tonight and have it all ready for you guys to look over.

DH will be sooo pleased that I have made a start on this and may even get DS his DS for Xmas at this rate! (I am going to pay for the majority of it I bet but hey will save him trying to steal his sisters!)

Will even maybe bake a cake this afternoon in readyness!

I have a mad puppy at the moment though so if you are scared of or allergic to dogs let me know - although she is non shedding kind she is still a bit mad but I can lock her in her cage no problem.

Ooohhhh I am more excited about actually seeing real live people after being housebound for so long.

Please don;t laugh at my swollen face though!

Saz126 · 10/12/2008 10:45

Of course won't laugh! Hope you're recovering ok.

Don't speed home, will aim for just before 10am. Might have to pop back to pick up though, or I might bring big pushchair, can leave outside yours no probs, is so big probably won't fit through door, I have trouble with ours!

Can't wait to meet puppy! Dogs not usually a problem, DS will probably climb all over me to get away from it to start with but should be fine, and I want him to get used to dogs anyway.

MadameCastafiore · 10/12/2008 10:57

Thats great - thanks Saz - I can load stuff in car and drop it at yours when I go and collect DS from school at 12 or even later before I get DD at 3.15. - we have a Thomas Trike and a Thomas Helmet that DS used twice too that might be good for DS?

pooter · 10/12/2008 11:00

hi madame,
what kind of puppy did you get? is it a labradoodle? ooh, id love a puppy - just not the poo that comes with one!

im interested in the bag of cars (have already requested a garage from PIL) and need something fireman sam related for a friend. I might be able to come at 9.45 thurs - DH has the day off, so i could leave him at adventureland with DS for some father son bonding. (rest for me! )

MadameCastafiore · 10/12/2008 11:39

Thats fine Pooter - if I am not here I will deffo be home by 10.

Be careful where you all park do not park on my sdie of the street as between 10 and 11 you get ticketed.

I have a jupiter firenegine, helen the nurses ambulance, tom's helicopter and the people that go in them and mike the stupid australians rescue vehicle - and if I can wrestle away from DS to change the batteries a talking soft fireman sam.

Yep we got a labradoodle and it has not as yet pooed inside - well other than in its cage - the next step is to get it to only go in one part of the garden or when we take it for waks but as I can't get out of the house for long and it isn't allowed out till Monday we are both just putting up with it shitting on the gras - it is though only weeing at the end of the DCs slide which is a bit of an issue and somethig we are going to have to address pretty quickly!

pooter · 10/12/2008 11:45

Sawyer64 · 10/12/2008 12:27

Ok thanks Madame.I will have to dash though,as will be en-route to my mums for lunch etc. and she lives in Ongar.Puppies not a problem for me,and DD2 is getting used to them now slowly(CM's have one)

See you Thurs am.

MissisBoot · 10/12/2008 12:32

Ooh - I might be interested in your baby annabella stuff - think mil is buying one for dd for xmas!

How was was your op? Are you recovering ok?

Can't believe you have a puppy too!

Pooter - I've got the bag of cars - are you in Colchester now?

Saz126 · 10/12/2008 13:25

OK would be great if you can drop off. DS now has a trike (I completely forgot this, has been in the garage!) See you tomorrow.

MadameCastafiore · 10/12/2008 13:30

Is only bits and bobs MissisBoot - I gave the pram to afriend a while ago in a swap for some playmobil!

You wouldn't fancy a dolls house though or a stable - all good quality wooden stuff - just need to get rid of it now as they not playing with it anymore.

OP posts:
pooter · 10/12/2008 13:54

hi missisB - dont worry about the cars - DS has quite enough already - he is OBSSESSED. I cant understand it. what did little caveboys do before cars were invented?? I will bagsy a Fireman sam doodah though .

lucyfer2000 · 10/12/2008 22:28

OP posts:
pooter · 11/12/2008 16:09

Thanks for the tea and chat madame! The toys are all wrapped and labelled now - thankyou very much! A donation to the ds fund is on its way.

Sawyer64 · 11/12/2008 16:33

Sorry guys, for "waiting on the doorstep",but I had to be somewhere early today, didn't intend to "beat the rush" thought everyone else would be there at 10.00am too,so we'd have "fought it out".

Didn't mean to be so eager Madame!

Sawyer64 · 11/12/2008 16:39

Lucy, think I may have "doubled up" on some of the doll Accessories, will have a sort through, and if I have any "doubles",I could drop them over to you?

lucyfer2000 · 11/12/2008 19:37

Hi Madame. Maybe we can pop over another time to check out your puppy!

Sawyer no worries honey, we were not going to make it today anyway because DS had one of those non-specific i'm poorly but i'm not really i just want to be grumpy days...!
If you do find any extra dolls stuff just let me know what you've got - i've been really crap and not done any shopping yet!

Sawyer64 · 12/12/2008 11:09

Thanks again Madame! Wished I could have stayed for the Tea and Cake!
