Swimming lessons?

I want to take ds1 (4.8) to swimming lessons locally after school. Does anyone know of any and recommend them? The only ones I have had recommended are on a Sunday morning, so not quite what we are looking for. TIA.

We had (baby) lessons with little fishes, but they do older lessons too.

Our lessons were at the pool in the Quality Hotel, but lessons are also held in the thistle hotel in chiswell green, and somewhere else between here and hertford - my SIL takes her kids as well and it's closer to them. I think there are more venues as well.

Depending whereabouts in St Albans you are...We go to lessons at Hertfordshire Sports Village (at the University) They do them on a Tues and Thurs evening. This coming week will be the week for new people to register. Great pool and lovely teachers.

My daughter Jess does after school lessons at Westminster Lodge Sports Centre. She absolutely loves it and her teacher is wonderful. She's 5 and has swum with them for about 14months.
