Hiya all - I've finally found a yoga group in Hillingdon!

It is for pregnant woman 16+ wks, the tutor is really great and concentrates on any problems/ailments that you may be suffering from in addition to exercise and getting you ready for the birth etc.

At the end of the session she supplies drinks and there is a bit of chat time where you can relax and get to know everyone.

It is on Mondays 10am-12 and near to Brunel Uni.

She does keep the group to a minimum of 10 people at a time, so if you are interested I would contact her asap for the details.

I would definately recommend it!

If you are interested and would like more info her contact details are Kim Banner - 01895 820267

Do you have to sign up for a course? I wouldn't mind doing it but I am already 23 weeks and can't really afford to pay for classes I don't attend if you see what I mean? I also have a young daughter so depends on if I can get childcare.

sorry for the delay in reply - i went along and it was £12.50 a week and you had to pay in 4wk chunks (best to give her a ring and chat with her if you are interested).

i was really enjoying it but had to give it up because of personal reasons.

as for how far in into your pregnancy you are that wouldnt be a problem, i think you have to be a min of 16wks and she works with you till the end. hope this helps. xx

Sorry, can I just clarify - it is £12.50 per session?? Seems an awful lot! I did one in Ruislip last year when pregnant with DD which only worked out £5 for an hour session!

yes it is - the thing is that was the only one i could find at the time that was a pregnancy one. i searched high and low and couldnt find any others, i even asked my midwife.

it was for two hours though and she did try and help to concentrate on any problems anyone was having by doing exercises that would help, then we would all chat afterwards and have some juice and healthy snacks she had bought along for us, so in that way i think it was a good class.
