Moved to Tun Wells 18 months ago and now have 11 month old son. Would love to make new Tunbridge Wells friends. Going back to work part-time so still available for coffee/lunches etc. If anyone out there would like to meet up, I would love to hear from you!

Hello Kitty !! We have moved to Tonbridge this week with our 11 week old baby girl and I'm keen to get out and about exploring the area. Let me know if you would like to meet for coffee somewhere !! Jo

Hi there,
We moved to Tunbridge Wells last December when I was heavily pregnant with baby number 3 - so I now have a 4 year old son, a 3 year old daughter and an 8 month old son. Am returning to work Mon-Weds in Jan, but would love to meet more people if you make it a Thurs or Fri!!

KittyTN · 25/11/2008 18:26

Hi Jo & Ann

I am due to return to work mid Jan, unfortunately Wed-Fri! Certainly able to meet up any day before I go back. Lots of places to meet in Tun Wells. Ann - how would your older children cope if we met in town or are they at play group?

Hi Kitty

Theo is at school in the mornings, Tilly is at nursery Tues,Weds, Thurs, so I only have Rufus on those days - any good to meet up before Jan - I go back on the 12th Jan!

Hi Jo,

Can come to/towards you until you're mobile if that works better!

Hi Ann & Jo

Would love to meet up before Jan - 14/1/09 is my return date! We live on Molyneux Park Road so either 'end' of Tunbridge Wells is good for me. Hoopers is nice (good lunch and nice coffee area) or cafe revive in Marks which is good too or Fenwicks - food less good but plenty of buggy room! If you get this message in time I am free anytime tomorrow or Weds. Let me know what you think! Jo - dont know if you have your car yet? I do drive but I don't know Tonbridge at all!
Kate (Kitty) aka Henry's mum!

Hi Kate,

I am going back on the 12th Jan!

I'm free on Weds, but not tomorrow, so could meet wherever (am in St John's). I could meet up around 10 for coffee, but have to pick DS up at 12 and DD at 12.15 from school/nursery so would have to leave by around 11.45.

How about meeting in Cafe Revive (M&S) at 10 as I have to pop into M&S to get a couple of bits for a dinner anyway?

Can you email me at annhugheswilson @ googlemail . com and I can give you my mobile number.

SouthernMeerkat · 01/12/2008 19:34

Or, just had a thought becasue I've remembered where MPR is - how about Bean on St John's Road?!

Hi Guys!

Weds at 10am is good for me. I'd be happy with Bean or M&S - if all4thekids is south side perhaps Cafe Revive would be easiest?

Hi,

We are at Music group in Vic Centre until 10:15, so I could meet at Cafe Revive after, but please don't change plans if Bean is easier for everyone else!

Morning Ladies !!

Sorry I've not checked this for a few days - internet connection in new house a bit dodgy but I think we've got it sorted now.

I unfortunately won't be able to come to T Wells tomorrow as I've made plans already, booh !!

However, I do have a car now so can come to the next gathering wherever that may be ;-)

Have fun and I look forward to meeting you all soon.

Jo, x

Kate and I are planning to meet at cafe revive at 10.30am so hope to see you there!

Ann

Jo - will look forward to meeting up with you next time.

All4thekids · 02/12/2008 17:08

Great. A meet at cafe Revive sounds nice. I will wander up after music group. How do we meet?

You both have boys under a year? I have a daughter 20m.

Hey Ladies,

Did you meet up ?!

Have you arranged another outing ??

KittyTN · 08/12/2008 13:03

Hi Everyone!

It was great to meet Sophie last week - unfortunately too much chatting and she had to run to pick up son - whoops! So no repeat date set yet. I am free this Friday. If we could get a couple of Mums together that would be great. Ann - hope Rufus is feeling better!

Hi Kate,

So sorry not to make it last week - Rufus now fine, but we've had a few sleepless nights so I am looking several years older!

I am around on Friday as Tilly has her nursery Christmas party, so could meet up in the morning again, but have to pick Theo up at 12.

Ann

KittyTN · 10/12/2008 15:06

Hi Ann

Henry is teething with all the usual grottiness but hopefully should be on better form by Friday. Where do you need to be to pick up Theo? We could meet for coffee near to Theo's school around 11.00.
Kate

Just to say I can't make Friday as I have to wait in for some parcels to be delivered.

Maybe the next time !!

SouthernMeerkat · 11/12/2008 16:31

Sorry, only just seen this - Bean or Basil would be good for me as they are close enough to school for me to scoot off around 11.45ish....are either of those any good?

KittyTN · 11/12/2008 18:51

Hi Ann

Have just googled Bean - is the one you're thinking of on St Johns Road just passed St Johns church? If so I could get up there for 11.00ish.
Kate

OP posts:
SouthernMeerkat · 11/12/2008 19:38

Yes, it's a bit further on from the church - just passed the little Sainsbury's and Lava. I can be there around 10.45 I think - Rufus will usually be awake by 10.30, so look forward to seeing you tomorrow?!

Ann

KittyTN · 12/12/2008 08:45

Hi Ann
have just put Henry down but can hear quite alot of singing! Hopefully if he has an hour I'll be able to get us both washed and dressed and up to Bean for 11!

See you there!
