If you are like me who doesn't like the whole treat and trick at door step,
Cambridge police has a poster www.cambs.police.uk/advice/crimeprevention/advice.asp?ID=160 for you to download.

Great idea - I hate trick or treat, personally. But so many little kids around here we will probably just grin and go along with it.

Does make me feel a little not friendly. I am okay with little ones. But we do get cheeky big children turned up at door seems coin is too little and sweet is not good enough. I shouted once when DS was a baby because these group just knocked and knocked on the door when it was past 9.

In the past I have given fruit instead of sweets. That tends to keep the numbers down

Dh is American so is all for getting dd dressed up and going out but I will have none of it. If they gang up on me I might maker an agreement with a couple of neighbours only.
