Hi there,

can anyone recommend an Osteopath or Chiropractor in the Putney/Fulham area (or thereabouts) who can help with my SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction)?

I'm only 23 weeks and its already started. I would love to nip it before it gets too bad.

Many thanks

Does anyone have a child currently at Addison Primary school?
Have been offered a place after the half term and would like to hear from other parents.
I liked the school when we visited but recently heard worrying things from a mother who's child was in the primary school.

munteria

this is a little late.

However, there is a wonderful practice called the Fulham Osteopaths on the Fulham rd. You can google for number but they are nearer the Parsons Green end opposite a shop called Indian Summer.

Mindi Cotton is a practice leader there and specialises in pregnancy. She's great.

HTH.

Munteria,

Hi I had the same thing SPD in the back (you might have it in the front - be warned this is more difficult to treat), my pain started to at 8 weeks and got worse till I could hardly get up from a chair. I started seeing her when I was about 5 months and still seeing her occationally now (although I am a lot better, my baby is 2 months) I was recommended the Octogon clinic from another person with SPD off Kings Street in Chiswick. Brilliant. The chiropractor I saw was called Claire, but they all specialise in mothers and babies and use very gentle techniques. Just to warn you though, they can't fix it, but make it a lot more bearable and stop it getting so bad you end up on cruches which I'm sure would have happened to me. She can also ensure that the baby is in the correct position for birth. I highly recommend her. Search the Octogon Clinic on google.

Hope this helps you.

Hi there, there is a wonderful women's health specialist team at Physio For All in Chelsea & Battersea. I run my unique No More Mummy Tummy Masterclasses from both clnics too, & can help with one-to-one work. There is a tonne of information on coping with & alleviating SPD here

I hope it helps!
